Sunrise

Rise and shine!  This is a real pick me upper. How could you not like waking up to this painting?  Yum COFFEE! You can just smell it brewing.

Neon

Electric colors splash this white daisy on a deep purple background.  The picture does not really show how cool this painting is.  You must see it in person if you like it. Active lines make this boring white flower come to life.

Paradise

My 2 favorite flowers are daisies (obviously) and Birds of Paradise.  I've never been to Hawaii but that's what comes to mind when I paint them.  Now where is my pineapple umbrella drink?

Blue

Decided to give darker colors a try.  Realized not everyone loves the bright in your face colors I tend to choose.  My daughter Kate said to name it Dark Mystery...Ironically this is one of my favorites.

Silly

Silly is the mood I was in when I painted this one.  The bright colors just make you smile...try frowning - I dare you.  See can't be done.

BIG Red

Go BOLD or go home!  Go Cornhuskers! and don't you just love that cinnamon gum?

Need I say more? It's a big red flower...thus the ever so creative title.

Jack Johnson was serenading during this one.  My favorite part of this piece is the active black lines.  I can just imagine this flower dancing.

Warm Sun

I think I have found my "style" with this painting.  It has been a journey and I look forward to developing this even more.  It's funny how music inspires me.  This painting had Jimmy Buffett blaring in the background.  Don't you just want a margarita on a beach when you look at this one.

Wow! What an adventure my new found talent of art has been.  This is my first blog as well so bare with me as I learn how to adjust the colors, add pics, posts and all the fun doodads you can do with a blog.
