Cecil and Picasso!

Meet my new friend Cecil and his Picasso...Cecil has wanted to have a copy of this painting for over 15 years.  He did it once himself but had to leave it behind with the house when it was sold.  Now he has it again.  This was really a fun project for me.  It was so different from what I normally do and Cecil was just delightful thru the whole process.  Even though this is not my original I learned from copying the master, Picasso. 

Calm & Relaxing

Calm & Relaxing.... so my Cousin Kim says.  She named them and she would know because she's older so therefore wiser, right?  It is really fun to add new techniques I learn to my bright flowers.  These are mixed media with custom water colored papers, acrylic & oil paints and oil pastels on textured canvas.

Rhythm 123

I've got Rhythm! ha not really.  These are 3 panels that can stand alone or be hung as a group.  I used a wide assortment of mixed media for these...lots of fun getting my hands dirty while listening to music as these came to life.
