Southwest Peace

It's always fun to take workshops that are foreign to you...oil painting.  I grew up watching my dad paint with oils and always marveled at his talent.  So figured why not give it a try.  I did take one old masters oil painting class a year ago.  This one was a different technique so was fun to learn a new approach.  While I LOVE my collage mixed media that I do and will definitely continue down that path it was fun to stretch.    $200 gallery wrapped canvas

Here is the finished trio of the New Vision post.  I really had a blast with these as I wasn't sure where it would end up when I started.  I had a basic idea but often don't sketch things out before hand.  The "fun" for me is to see what appears as I work.  Each piece is 16x20.  I hope you enjoy!
