Art In The Park!

It's official!  I will be debuting my art at "Art In The Park" Aug 11th & 12th in Loveland, CO.  You know my favorite place to be is in CO so off I go to enjoy a cooler weekend. I'll actually be in CO for 12 days and   I'll get to visit my family as well so I'm very excited to make this my first full weekend at an art festival.  I'm busy creating new paintings  for this event!  I'll be posting them so if you can't join me in beautiful CO you'll still have an opportunity to see them. 

Ah The Life

"Ah The Life" is what goes thru my friend's Corina mind when she sees this hand painted paper collage.  So that's how it got named.  Obviously I had Jimmy Buffett in my iPod when creating this paradise.  Now if it was my backyard that would be true bliss.

Miss Tahoe

This sassy lady is Miss Tahoe and will be on her way this week!  Mixed media and hand painted paper collage collide in this newest painting.  Combining these 2 mediums is so inspiring to me.  It's so fun to work with the color and patterns of the papers and apply them in unison with the textures and paints.  I hope she brings a spark to the Nomura family vacation home! Enjoy!!

The Gift of Crunk

 Austin, Gale and daughter Nani came over last night.  We ended up just having pizza...too hot for a campfire- summer is here.  Gave them the painting of Crunk and they LOVED it! Whew.  Even though these are my kids it's nerve racking giving a painting of something so personal but at the same time it's quite an honor.  I love what I do...art is emotional and should be enjoyed.
